Tasco

Name an optical equipment manufacturer, or just about any outdoor equipment manufacturer –that isn’t expensive. I know you’ll be stuck; it an effort to think of one.

Let alone of finding one.

It’s the truth. Optical equipments are expensive. The raw materials are expensive, they are manufactured expensive and sold with labels that make them further expensive. A typical Brunton binocular would cost around $200 - $600 –which is already a moderate price as far as quality optical equipments are concerned. Some brand name optical products, like some designs of Brunton or Leica, could cost beyond the $1k margin, the borderline only a bare few would dare tread, let alone browse.

Sports equipments are expensive, but there are some others that aren’t. It’s the beauty of these brand names, they aren’t burdened with a heavy brand name. They sell quality sports equipment –optical equipment on a very low price.

I’m talking about Tasco. If you know about Tasco, the brand name Tasco is the most versatile company catering to a wide angle of consumers. Their familiar name had grown over time with their trustworthy expertise in optics, yet can afford to be very cheap. That’s why for those consumers wanting a quick change to a product that’s affordable yet dependable and delivers in standard performance, Tasco is their best option. Aside from binoculars, the brand name of Tasco has also expanded to other areas in optics, including rifle scopes, telescopes and shooting glasses.

For instance, how much would a standard binocular cost. A regular Bushnell Binocular could cost around $150; a Brunton could cost somewhere $600. And compare those prices to Tasco’s most impressive lineup, the World Class Series only at $89.

The Tasco® World Class® Series
Featuring only the premium quality of BaK-4 roof prism, the Tasco World Class Plus binoculars boasts of several key features you’d find in high end brand names. The roof prisms not only support compact build and lightweight, it also features superior light transmission, in the same degree of those on Bushnell or Brunton. Tasco’s premium quality glass and lens are multi coated to achieve the highest brilliance possible.

In yet the same fashion, the Tasco World Class® Series features durability, waterproof, fog proof, shockproof construction that makes the binocular excellent for almost any outdoor use. All these protection are afforded by the rugged rubber armor that encases the whole metal structure. With the Tasco World Class® Series, no one has to spend beyond the $100 margin just to enjoy a really casual activity like bird watching.

The Tasco® Snapshot™ Binoculars
Everyone knows that impressive sights only last until the observer lowers the binoculars. Of course that wouldn’t be if the observer is holding a camera binocular hybrid. The only problem is that, most binoculars having an integrated camera feature costs not less than $400. Not so with Tasco though.

Innovation is even an option on a cheaper, affordable scale. With the Tasco Snapshot Binocular, consumers can avail the newest sweetest technology now available for binoculars. A sweet combination of a powerful Tasco binocular, at 10 x 25, plus a compact digital camera add-on, everyone can see what your up to the whole day. Now you can snap pictures of exotic birds or exotic butterflies, or even the most picturesque sunset, it’s still a camera after all.

The Tasco Snapshot is compact and lightweight, enough to be carried comfortably on any trekking and adventuring.

Because it is downright cheap, Tasco products are often labeled as inferior quality. Yet there are some designs, like those listed above that surprise because of the depth of the features and construct, while remaining true to the cheap label. There are other Tasco models yet worth mentioning, like the Tasco Rangefinder binoculars, the Tasco Infocus binoculars, the Tasco Off-Shore, and yet another hidden gem, the Sonoma.
